Tony nominee Carmen Cusack takes center stage in the Encores! presentation of Call Me Madam, running February 6–10 at New York City Center as part of the midtown venue’s 75th anniversary season.

Cusack (Bright Star, Lempicka) takes on the role of Ambassador Sally Adams—the role originated on Broadway in the Irving Berlin musical by Ethel Merman. Among those joining her in the Casey Hushion-helmed presentation are Ben Davis as Cosmo Constantine, Jason Gotay as Kenneth Gibson, Darrell Hammond as Grand Duke Otto, Adam Heller as Congressman Wilkins, Carol Kane as Grand Dutchess Sophie, Stanley Wayne Mathis as Senator Borckbank, Brad Oscar as Senator Gallagher, Randy Rainbow as Sebastian Sebastian, Michael Benjamin Washington as Pemberton Maxwel, and Lauren Worsham as Princess Maria.

The ensemble includes Florrie Bagel, Daniel Berryman, Taeler Elyse Cyrus, Leslie Flesner, Ta’Nika Gibson, Christopher Gurr, Leah Horowitz, Javier Ignacio, Max Kumangai, Matt Loehr, Brandt Martinez, Skye Mattox, Timothy McDevitt, Harris Milgrim, Bethany Moore, Mary Page Nance, Robert Roby, Kathy Voytko, Sumi Yu, and Ricardo Zayas

The show, featuring a score by Berlin and a book by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse, sends up political discourse as a socialite is named U.S. ambassador to the (fictional) country of Lichtenburg. Encores! first put on the show in its second season in 1995.

The new Encores! presentation features choreography by Denis Jones; Music Director Rob Berman conducts.
