Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert presents Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's iconic rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar, which tells the story of the final week of the life of Jesus. The now-classic score contains such songs as "Heaven On Their Minds," "Everything's Alright," "I Don't Know How to Live Him," and "Gethsemane."
The work debuted in 1970 as a concept album, but has subsequently received multiple Broadway and West End productions, two movie adaptations, and countless regional and touring productions worldwide.
The production features direction by David Leveaux, camera direction by Alex Rudzinski, choreography by Camille A. Brown, production design by Jason Ardizzone-West, costume design by Paul Tazewell, lighting design by Al Gurdon, and music direction by Nigel Wright. Casting is by Laura Wade and Bernie Telsey of Telsey + Company.
