Steppenwolf co-founder Gary Sinise will join fellow co-founder and Steppenwolf Artistic Director Jeff Perry February 18, 2019, for a conversation about his new book Grateful American: A Journey from Self to Service. The event will be held at 7 PM and again at 9 PM.

Sinise is on tour promoting his new book, which chronicles his life as an actor and advocate—from a high school production of West Side Story to his work as a founding member of Chicago’s Steppenwolf Theatre, as well as his performance as Lieutenant Dan in Forrest Gump—a role that inspired his advocacy for America's veterans, first responders, and their families.

Tickets go on sale December 17. A copy of the book is included with the ticket. Visit Steppenwolf.org.
