Lesli Margherita, the singer-actor who recently starred in the Off-Broadway show Who’s Holiday!, heads west to New Hope, Pennsylvania, January 20 to share her all-new solo cabaret show This Broad’s Way at the Bucks County Playhouse.

Margherita won an Olivier Award for her West End debut as Inez in Zorro the Musical, and has been busy in New York, playing the title character’s mother in Matilda The Musical, and taking a starring role in the revival of Dames at Sea. She spent 2017 appearing on TV, in movies, and in numerous concert and cabaret gigs in addition to a grown-up Cindy Lou Who in the Dr. Seuss parody Who’s Holiday!. She returns to Bucks County Playhouse, where she played Miss Adelaide in a 2017 revival of Guys and Dolls.

Featuring standards, Broadway showstoppers, and “new twists on what will become old favorites,” This Broad’s Way will showcase Margherita’s stories about how she’s managed to carve her niche in show business. The show will be directed and produced by Lauren Bass, featuring musical direction and arrangements by Brett Ryback.

Margherita currently recurs on three television dramas: Homeland (Showtime), Instinct (CBS), and Seven Seconds (Netflix). On film, she starred in the movie adaptation of the stage musical Lucky Stiff, opposite Jason Alexander, and opposite Topher Grace and Taye Diggs in the film Opening Night.
