Raúl Esparza, who scored four Tony nominations over the course of five years, will join Classic Stage Company Artistic Director John Doyle for a one-night-only conversation and concert looking back at his illustrious career.
The Law & Order: SVU alum—who recently appeared in a production of Chess opposite Karen Olivo and Ruthie Ann Miles—is currently starring in the Off-Broadway production of The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui, directed by Doyle for Classic Stage Company. The 7 PM December 9 event will find Esparza performing songs from his previous credits, with music director Mary-Mitchell Campbell offering piano accompaniment.
Esparza made his Broadway debut as a replacement Emcee in Cabaret, going on to star in The Rocky Horror Show, Taboo, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Company, The Homecoming, Speed-the-Plow, Arcadia, and Leap of Faith. He earned Tony nominations for Taboo, Company (also directed by Doyle), The Homecoming, and Speed-the-Plow.
Tickets, priced at $100–$150, can be purchased at ClassicStage.org or 212-352-3101.
