Adam Cooper (Swan Lake) will return to the role of Don Lockwood when the Chichester Festival Theatre’s Olivier-nominated production of Singin’ in the Rain plays a five-week engagement at London's Sadler’s Wells in summer 2020.

Directed by Jonathan Church with choreography by Andrew Wright, performances will begin July 24, 2020, prior to an official opening July 30. Tickets will go on sale to the general public July 8, 2019.

Based on the MGM musical, Singin’ in the Rain features songs by Nacio Herb Brown and Arthur Freed with original screenplay and adaptations by Betty Comden and Adolph Green. The production is designed by Simon Higlett with lighting by Tim Mitchell.

This production of Singin’ in the Rain opened at Chichester Festival Theatre in summer 2011 and transferred to the Palace Theatre in the West End in February 2012, where it received four Olivier Award nominations.

After Sadler’s Wells, Singin’ in the Rain will return to Japan, playing Tokyo beginning in September 2020.

Michael Harrison Entertainment and Jonathan Church Productions present the Chichester Festival Theatre and Stage Entertainment Production of Singin’ in the Rain.
