Broadway’s The Boys in the Band will present a special midnight performance July 26 to benefit The Actors Fund.

The production, featuring a cast including Jim Parsons, Zachary Quinto, Matt Bomer, and Andrew Rannells, is the latest Broadway show to offer a late-night performance to benefit the organization, following A Doll’s House, Part 2 and Three Tall Women (both produced by Scott Rudin, who also produces The Boys in the Band alongside David Stone and Ryan Murphy).

Mart Crowley’s 1968 play, about a group of gay men who gather in a New York apartment for a birthday party, opened on Broadway for the first time in May; performances are scheduled through August 11 at the Booth Theatre.

The cast, under the direction of Joe Mantello, also includes Robin De Jesús, Charlie Carver, Brian Hutchison, Michael Benjamin Washington, and Tuc Watkins.

During the Actors Fund performances, the Broadway companies donate their time so that all proceeds will go to the organization, which provides professionals in the performance arts community with various programs and resources, including health care, affordable housing, senior care, career development, and more.
