Come From Away began previews in New York February 18, 2017, at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, where it officially opened March 12.
The musical features a book, music, and lyrics by the Canadian husband-and-wife team of Irene Sankoff and David Hein (My Mother's Lesbian Jewish Wiccan Wedding). Director Christopher Ashley won a Tony Award for his work on the show.
