SPARK: Fitness for Creatives is a comprehensive movement class created by Hayley Palmer designed specifically for performing artists and creative professionals.
This donation-based class integrates the methodologies of yoga, interval training, physical theatre, and mindfulness to keep the creative instrument healthy and in tune for your artistic endeavors.

This class is for those who wish to:
· Condition the physical instrument with low-impact movement
· Cultivate a body that is flexible, strong, and receptive
· Deepen your connection to the body, voice, and self
· Enhance presence, power, and confidence in physical instincts
· Explore improvisational games in a safe and supportive environment
· Engage with fellow artists and expand your community
This 90-minute class is structured as follows:

Move (45 mins)
Pause (5 mins)
Play (30 mins)
All experience levels welcome
Maximum 15 artists

I'm incredibly excited to discover how SPARK may support this hustling community of NYC artists. I grew up training intensely in classical ballet and danced professionally for several years before entering college. Since then, I've spent years exploring just about every kind of fitness class I could find. Yoga, HIIT, barre, lifting, running, spinning, silking, and the list goes on! I gained valuable insight from these experiences about what approaches and environments seems to best supplement my life as an actor and teacher.
