The Shubert Organization, one of Broadway's leading theatrical management companies, currently has an opportunity for a Box Office Auditor. We offer a competitive salary and a superior benefits package.
The qualified candidate will:
*Be able to work Fridays and Saturdays 10:00am to 6:00pm, plus another 3 days, to be determined during training based on operational needs. Possible split days off work week. Must be flexible regarding work schedule, including covering Sundays for vacation relief and be able to work major holidays and overtime as needed.
*Have experience working in a box office using a computerized ticketing system, STAR preferred.
*Have experience with PCs (Excel).
*Have strong basic math skills, local skills and attention to details.
*Have superior communications and customer service skills.
Duties will include:
*Checking returned tickets against STAR system reports and monitor stock controls that validate the use of ticket stock.
*Auditing box office statements (confirm adjustments and deductions).
*Reconciling box office operations to assure advance is in balance.
*Auditing STAR system programming.
*Commuicating with internal departments (helpdesk, technical services, etc.) as well as our box offices.
*Perform general clerical duties.
