The Shakespeare Project is seeking Technical and Performance positions for their upcoming production of Macbeth.
Digital Submissions will be accepted through April 1st. Please send a headshot, resume, and a Dramatic Shakespeare Monologue of your choice either as a video doc or youtube file to email@example.com. ALL AUDITIONS THIS YEAR WILL BE DIGITAL.
All roles are available for this production, and we strongly encourage all ethnicities, body types, and genders to submit. This production will be cast gender and racially blind.

Stage Management Apprentice
Rehearsals and build begin August 3 and the show will run for one week from August 19-25. Professional Company will receive $1000 plus housing for the 3 week contract and Acting/Technical Apprentices will receive a stipend of $500 plus housing for the 3 week contract. At this time we are only able to hire non-equity actors.
The Shakespeare Project was founded in 2017 in Anniston, Alabama, the original home of the Alabama Shakespeare Festival. The Shakespeare Project’s mission is to provide free accessible professional Shakespeare to all, regardless of race, gender, or socio-economic status, under the belief that art is a human right. All performances are free to the general public and surrounding schools. Our shows are only 90 minutes long and specifically tailored to the community of Northeast Alabama.
