Florida Studio Theatre, an established professional theatre is seeking African-American male musical performers for the following revue:




Under the Boardwalk



A Doo-Wop Musical Revue.

Born under the streetlamps of Eastern cities, this doo-wop musical revue brings tight harmony to the stage. Beginning with doo-wop groups like The Drifters and The Platters and continuing with the harmonies of artists such as The Miracles, The Four Tops, and the Beach Boys, Under the Boardwalk celebrates the cool style that serenaded a generation through the ‘50s and ‘60s. Featuring songs like “Blue Moon,” “16 Candles,”  “Save the Last Dance,”  “Working My Way Back to You,.” and “Stand by Me.”

 

This show will be on an AGVA contract, but you will not be required to join.  If you would like to self, submit, please email your photo and resume to James Ashford, Casting & Hiring Coordinator at casting@floridastudiotheatre.org.  Please put "Under the Boardwalk" in the subject line.
