Reporting to the Ehrenkranz Artistic Director, the Production Manager coordinates operational functions for the Great Performers (GP) series and the Mostly Mozart Festival (MMF). In addition, the Production Manager oversees the running of the MMF Orchestra according to institutional policy, ensuring compliancy with all applicable agreements.




* Manage operations, in collaboration with Lincoln Center administrative staff and MMFO personnel management, to ensure proper execution of GP/MM events, rehearsals and concerts.

* Coordinate guest orchestras, conductors, soloists, orchestra personnel managers, librarians, artist managers, booking/venue managers in the timely preparation for and executing of most GP/MM events. Procedures regarding the MMFO concerts should be in compliance with the collective bargaining labor agreement.

* Oversee the running of the MMFO, which includes preparation and distribution of information pertaining to schedules and logistics; maintaining accurate records of orchestra history and issues such as vacancies, probation periods, tenure status, seniority, discipline, and morale.

* Oversee and monitor actions at venues and rehearsal in coordination with relevant staff to ensure the smooth running of services and events.

* Coordinate logistical arrangements and accommodations for artists, as needed.

* Coordinate and process visa applications for those artists without domestic representation, on a timely basis.

* Maintain master schedule and distribute production notes to all involved parties.

* Maintain appropriate records, database, and filing system for all information related to operations including labor agreements, rentals agreements, insurance policies, equipment manuals, venue specifications, production note history, etc.

* Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal departments such as Concert Halls, Media and Planning and Development, Mostly Mozart Music Director, Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra (MMFO), MMFO Contractor, Local 802, Visiting performing artists: conductors, soloists, orchestras, chamber ensembles, Technical crew (lighting, sound, direction, etc.), Artist hospitality vendors, Instrument and equipment rental organizations, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.




* A strong sense of professionalism, good judgment and leadership

* A creative and resourceful problem-solver

* Knowledge of classical music and experience in the classical music industry.

* Meticulous, highly organized, and task-driven.

* Able to meet multiple deadlines simultaneously.

* Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work well under pressure.

* Excellent communication skills.
