SYNOPSIS: ColorStruck is a one-man show that uses comedy, drama, music, poetry, dance, and music to examine the history of Africans and African Americans. It also looks at the history of race and institutionalized racism in America, and the journey of a light-skinned young boy growing up in Oakland California at the height of the Black consciousness and civil rights movement.

ColorStruck is designed as an ice breaker to promote discussion among people of all races, ages, and genders about race and how we as the human race can bridge the racial divide that is currently widening in America.
